Rich in natural compounds, with a smooth flavour, it’s easy to incorporate Mānuka goodness into your nutritious daily menu. Slightly milder flavour than its higher grade UMF™ counterparts, which makes it ideal for naturally sweetening teas, tonics, smoothies and your favourite raw recipes.

Recommended grade for snacking, or as a sugar replacement that has the benefits of Mānuka.

UMF™ stands for ‘Unique Mānuka Factor.’ This is a quality assurance trademark that measures the unique type of activity naturally present in Mānuka honey. To get a licence from the UMF™ Honey Association every producer has to meet strict criteria and their honey is independently tested and certified by independent laboratories.

When you see that honey has a UMF™ trademark, you can be certain you are holding genuine New Zealand Mānuka honey.

Genuine UMF™ Mānuka honey has three potent and unique compounds Methylglyoxal (MGO), Leptosperin and Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). Some of our honey has more of that goodness than others.

The UMF™ rating makes it easy for you to see which of our honey contains higher concentrations of these special compounds. The greater the UMF™ Mānuka Honey grade, the higher the concentration.
