Manuka honey has much higher levels of methylglyoxal than other honeys and is considered ‘active’, as it doesn’t lose potency when exposed to external elements including heat or light. The UMF testing 10+ process measures all three signature compounds, Leptosperin, DHA and Methylglyoxal, that together indicate high quality, authentic Manuka.
Trials have indicated that manuka honey can heal wounds and skin ulcers that haven't responded to standard treatments. Manuka honey is antimicrobial and antiviral. It is also an antioxidant that can help to increase vitality and immunity.

How to use:
Comvita® UMF® 10+ Manuka Honey can be used as a delicious spread. For preferred honey consistency, warm to soften or refrigerate to firm.
A teaspoon of honey 2-3 times per day, straight off the spoon or in a herbal tea may soothe sore throats or assist with digestive upsets.
